Payment Collection Terms and Conditions

1. Scope and Purpose

Emmanuel Apostolic Church (“the Church”) receives payments, offerings, tithes, dues, pledges, fees, and donations to support its religious, charitable, and community-based mission. These Payment Collection Terms and Conditions govern the collection and processing of all such payments.

2. Right to Collect Payments

The Church reserves the right to request, receive, and collect payments, offerings, dues, tithes, pledges, and donations in furtherance of its ministries and operations. All contributions are voluntary unless expressly stated otherwise, such as agreed membership dues, programme fees, or event registration costs.

3. Approved and Acceptable Means of Payment

Payments may be made only through methods approved and authorized by the Church, which may include: – 

  1. Cash offerings and payments 
  2. Cheques made payable to Emmanuel Apostolic Church 
  3. Bank deposits or electronic transfers to Church at designated accounts 
  4. Debit and credit card payments 
  5. Approved online giving platforms – Approved mobile or electronic payment services

The Church reserves the right to add, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any payment method at its discretion.

4. Authorization to Process Payments

By making a payment to the Church, you authorize the Church and any approved third-party service providers to collect, process, record, and reconcile the transaction using the selected approved method.

5. Use and Allocation of Funds

All funds collected are applied toward the Church’s religious, charitable, administrative, and operational purposes, in accordance with its mission, governance structure, and applicable laws of Jamaica.

6. Refunds, Reversals, and Adjustments

  • Offerings, tithes, and donations are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • Fees paid for events, programmes, or activities may be refunded or adjusted at the discretion of the Church and subject to any stated conditions.
  • Transaction or processing fees charged by third-party payment providers are non-refundable.

7. Records and Receipts

The Church maintains appropriate financial records of all payments received. Receipts or acknowledgements may be issued where applicable, including for donation records or accounting purposes.

8. Data Protection and Confidentiality

Personal data collected in connection with payments is processed in accordance with the Church’s Privacy Notice and the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2020. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are applied to protect financial and personal information.

9. Amendments to These Terms

The Church may update these Payment Collection Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most current version will be made available through official Church communication channels, the Church office, or upon request.
